Abstract:
One new sesqui-neolignan, named spathulatol, was isolated from the pericarps of Illicium spathula-tum. Its structure was elucidated as 7′, 8′-trans-7″, 8″-cis-5, 3′,3″-trimethoxyl sesquineolignan on basis of spectral evidence (MS, IR, 1D and 2D NMR).
