Moving Object Detection Algorithm Based on Three-Frame-Differencing and Edge Information

A moving object detection algorithm based on three-frame-differencing and edge information is presented in this paper. Firstly, three continuous edge images are obtained by edge extract from three continuous images, and then, the motion information is detected with three-frame-differencing, finally, the object is extracted with threshold segmentation and morphology. The result shows that the detection algorithm can detect object accurately and quickly.
